It all started down the shore in August 2014. We were relaxing, eating watermelon, when we decided to begin a journal recording the dinners we eat.
As some backstory, Beth is a planner at heart and the master coordinator. She typically plans all of our dinners for the week. Michelle (that’s me) mainly works on the cooking side of things. We pitch in and help each other out to get dinner on the table. Together, we’ve been recording our meals for about a year and a half now. We’re both vegetarians and we try to focus on relatively healthy and seasonal meals. That’s not to say we don’t sometimes eat pasta smothered in cheese, we know where the good stuff is.
All of this planning can be taxing, though, and we know there aren’t a ton of resources out there for vegetarians looking to figure out their next meal. We’re hoping that this blog will be a good tool for us, and maybe for anyone else who happens to find it. Happy eating!
